Review
I haven't tried a Larabar before, but it tasted pretty good. It is on par with the taste of some other protein bars I've had...probably better since it doesn't have the fake manufactured sweetness that other bars have. The only thing that pushes me away from it is the amount of calories in one bar. This is definitely a meal replacement bar for me, not a snack bar because of the amount of calories.  Even then it is higher in calories than some other meal replacement bars that I have tried.  The best part about a Larabar, any Larabar, would be the ingredient list.  I know what every ingredient is, I can pronounce them.  No added unnecessary things such as coloring or preservatives.  This is a big bonus as to why I would buy them and feel safer eating a Larabar in comparison to those other meal replacement bars.

Review
I haven't used press-on nails in ages and now I remember why. Yes, they were super easy to use. But most of the sizes in this container were too big for my fingers so I looked like I had a ghetto-fabulous manicure. I wouldn't have ever picked this color (Joy Ride, a fuchsia pink), but I gave the nails a try anyways. They were really uncomfortable and tight feeling on my fingers, I couldn't handle it for very long. I had no success peeling them off, so I'm inclined to believe that they will stay stuck on and last for a good while. Once I put the nails into nail polish remover, they came off in a few seconds.

Review: Softsoap Coconut Scrub Bar Soap

Product Information
The gentle smoothing you love in a body wash, now available in bar form! Enriched with crushed coconut extract and gentle exfoliants to reveal soft, smooth skin. Lush tropical fragrance — no passport required.

Review
I’ve never tried Softsoap Bar Soap before (I’ve been a Dove girl for awhile now). I received the Softsoap Coconut Scrub Bar Soap to try out and review.  Apparently this is the same soap they offer in body wash form, but now in bar form. I really liked the scent of the Coconut Bar, more than I originally thought I would. It’s not too overwhelming, which I love. The little pieces of coconut provided some exfoliation, and again, it wasn’t too overwhelming. No ripping my skin off or rubbing it raw. After rinsing the soap away my skin was still left with a nice light scent and was soft to the touch. There is no squeaky clean rubbery feeling here, which I hate, just nicely moisturized clean skin. I’d definitely pick up this soap for future use. I really would like to try the Sweet Honeysuckle & Orange Peel version, it sounds good enough to eat! Ok – I’d try the Juice Pomegranate & Mango Infusions too. Yum.

Check out the Softsoap website.

Review: Montagne Jeunesse Face Mask

Production Information from Montagne Jeunesse
Gently peel away dead skin with our amazing Passion Peel Off deep cleansing masque. Our Pomegranate and Passion Flower formula cleans, purifies and protects leaving your skin feeling fresh and radiant.

• Gluten Free
• Nut Derivative Free
• No Added Parabens

Review
I LOVED the scent of this face mask. I LOVED the feel of it on my skin. It was great the entire time I wore it. Other face masks have made my eyes burn or water with just being on my cheeks (never in the eye area). This mask was never irritating my eyes or my skin. It peeled off easily and didn't leave lots of tiny bits behind like some other peel off mask's do.

I really want to try the other versions of masks (there are peel off masks in Green Tea, Cucumber, Tropical and Lemon Zest along with other non-peel masks), but I think that the Passion Peel Off will become a mainstay in my facial skin care regime. My skin was left soft and smooth and no redness occurred from use.

Check out Montagne Jeunesse's website, Facebook page, Twitter page, and YouTube page.

Review: Mentos Pure Fresh Gum

From Mentos
Mentos Pure Fresh Gum with green tea extracts purifies your breath and leaves you with an intense sensation of freshness in your mouth. It is also sugarfree.

Review
I've used Mentos Pure Fresh Gum before I received a pack for review and I always love it. The flip top container it comes in is easy to use and fits in my purse or the car cup holder easily. I love that it's in this container and prefer it over the "boxed" gums. It just feels like that makes it fresher to me and there is no wrapper to throw away as well.

The gum is also pretty strong compared to many other gums. It definitely cleans up bad breath after a meal and is great for dry mouth as well. I think it holds it's flavor for a pretty long time...I'm gonna have to time it one day. This is a gum that our whole family can agree on. Oh, bonus, living in Florida it can get quite hot in the car...stick or tab gum gets sticky over time, but not Mentos. The hard shell for the gum keeps it from melting!

Check out the Mentos website.

Review:
I received the New York Color Liquid Lipshine in Nude York City (582) for review.  Upon opening the gloss I noticed the scent and I liked it immediately. As I was wearing the gloss I noticed the scent in the beginning, it was still pleasant and then later I either got used to the smell or it faded away. The Nude York City color is perfect for me. I am very pale and have pale lips as well and I look overly made up when they are too colorful. This was a nice neutral color that I could (and do) wear on a daily basis.

Many lipsticks are just too drying on me. This wasn’t the case with this Lipshine, it wasn’t drying at all and that is probably due to the fact that the gloss contains vitamin E which is moisturizing. The New York Color Liquid Lipshine has the most gloss I've ever seen from a liquid lip gloss. Seriously high gloss, I loved it. The only part I didn't like was that as it started to wear it got slightly tacky and I wouldn't want to be kissing anyone with lips like that! However it wasn’t a big enough deal for me to warrant not wearing it. I’m looking forward to trying other colors in the collection – they have 10 different shades and lots that I think will look good with my complexion. You can check them all out on NYC’s website.
